Week 44: Rockwood, TN

October 2, 2023

We had a Zone Blitz today. Sounds lame and it was exactly that. Nah jk haha it was super fun. We hung out with our Zone for P-day and then went out and worked different parts of Farragut. Elder Johnson and I went to one of the outcasted parts and talked to a bunch of people at gas stations. It was way fun. 

October 3, 2023

Today was fun, we went to ghetto Grocery Outlet to do a lil' bit of finding. Didn't find any people but we did find some sweet Domo costumes for $3. We went to the church to print off a Plan of Salvation picture for Sheri but that place was torn apart - half for the bed bugs and half for something else. We did have a good lesson with Autumn and Michelle and then had dinner with the Hallaway's. 

October 4, 2023

Today we had district council, which went well. Elder Buckstein brought his guitar so I played 'I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus' on it for a hymn haha. During the day we went to go visit the less active member Edie Butler, and that thing went way too long. We sat down with her and talked for a minute and then she was like, "Can y'all help me put up a couple security cameras?" so we agreed. An hour and a half later we got done setting up her entire security system. We had to set up her account, reset her password, call customer support to update the whole thing, and then do everything else. It was fun, but took forever. 

In the afternoon we pulled up and played tennis with the Teacher's Quorum. Took me back to my glory days in St. Geezy. 

October 5, 2023

We went with good old Harry for most of the day. Then we went over to Sister Chandler's for a while. We were just chillin' in her living rom watching WWII docs talking about history and her dog Hershey was being a rat bruh, so annoying. After that we went to Mama Warren's house and visited with her. She's addicted to Battlebots the TV show, so we were watching that eating chocolate. At the end of the day we had a really good lesson with Doris and Roxanne. Pretty busy day, a lot of member visits, but we hadn't seen them in a minute. 

October 6, 2023

Today was busy, but nothing too crazy happened. Honestly could've been busier, but it's alright. Fridays are usually kind of weird. We went to feeding Roane, had a lesson with Michelle, hit a couple contacts, and then dinner and game night with Harry.

October 7, 2023

Nothing fancy. Bunch of missed contacts and people that didn't want to talk and don't know anything about the church.

October 8, 2023

So church was pretty wild today. We got Autumn and Michelle to church, which was great but it could've gone smoother. The first thing Autumn said when she sat down was "I forgot to take my meds and I do not want to stay for two hours." So after a long sacrament of Autumn running out into the foyer like three times, Sister Chandler was a saint and gave her a ride home. Yeah she also asked like two members for a cigarette, so that's cool. But Michelle stayed for the whole thing and really liked it a solid 50% honestly.
